Welcome to Hill Tribe Travels – we are the Hill Family – an everyday family of 4 with a big love of all things travel. We are so happy you have found us and we hope you enjoy reading about our little adventures.
We hope to inspire families to take the plunge and just start travelling. Start small, close to home if you need to – but just start. If we can do it – so can you!
Have a look around our site, we have had some great adventures with our kids but we are not full time travellers. We are restricted by annual leave, so we like to explore local areas on the weekends and make use of all long weekends. We use every single day of Ross’s annual leave (I wish he had more!!).
We have been overseas with the kids to Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, a quick dip into Sweden for a Polar Ice Breaker Tour (and a dinner on our last night), Sumatra, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Hawaii, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Bali, a cruise to PNG and New Zealand.
We have camped at many different places in Victoria, had easy fun trips to Queensland and are loving taking the kids to music festivals.
We also love to get out and explore the walks around Melbourne and have a super in-depth post on skiing in Canada with kids.
